Our Pastoral Partnerships

The work that we do through Transforming Lives International would not be possible without partnership from our local pastors. We believe that Jesus is the hope of the world, and He is the one who brings transformation to individuals, families, and communities. TLI has partnered with pastors in locations strategically throughout Kenya by providing:

  • Financial support in building new churches
  • Financing community outreach events
  • Providing bibles and other outreach material
  • Providing emergency relief and meals for communities with the greatest need

pastoral partners

Meet the pastors that Transforming Lives International has had the honor to come alongside to advance the kingdom in their communities.

stella bor | kitengela

Kitengela is located 19 miles south of the capital city of Nairobi.

Pastor Stella Bor was the first pastor that TLI partnered with. For 13 years she pioneered a ministry in the slums of Kawangware. During her time in Kawangware Stella led children's ministry, feeding program, and provided counseling for the some poorest Nairobi families. Stella helped begin TLI's child sponsorship program as we sought for a way to provide education opportunities for Kawangware's children. Recently, God has opened the door for Stella to now begin a new church plant in Kitengela county.

dennis osir |
josiah generation

Dennis Osir is a young evangelist and author who is passionate about raising up youth to love Jesus.

Josiah Generation was started by Dennis Osir in order to share the good news of the gospel to youth throughout Kenya. His team of twenty five leaders hold events at primary schools and high schools throughout the country. Together they have inspired many young people to begin a life of faith.

william and joyce mutisya | mombasa

Mombasa is a coastal city in the south east of Kenya along the Indian Oceans.

Pastor William has spent many years working in Islamic communities and has a God given desire to reach this community with the love of Jesus. The first church he planted was nearly burned to the ground twice, however after years of building relationship and trust with the Islamic community in his area, he became a beloved, respected, and integral part of the community. He is planting a new church in Mombasa with the support of TLI.

jonathan and francine mutungi | nakuru

Nakuru is located in Western Kenya near Lake Victoria and is the fourth largest urban city in the country.

The need for a church in this community was made evident by the fact that it has been full since it began. TLI was able to facilitate a partnership between Pastor Jonathan and and The Bridge Church in Temecula, California.

In 2018 a mission team from The Bridge built this church in one week. Pastor Jonathan was key in providing support in the distribution of COVID-19 funds.
